Multiplier Event 1 – PR1 – “Study of teachers’ practices and learners’ needs in robotics and STEM in Europe – dissemination”
Multiplier Event (E1)
- Date: 19/06/2024
- Format: Virtual webinar
- Host: Universidad de Burgos (Spain)
- Objective: Disseminating PR1 results and gathering feedback from attendees through interactive tools like Mentimeter and Miro. This event serves to share findings on robotics and STEM education needs and collect feedback to refine the project approach further.
Project Result 1 (PR1)
- Title: Analysis of Best Practices and Needs in Robotics and STEM Education in the EU
- Description: PR1 involves a comprehensive analysis of current pedagogical practices in robotics and STEM education across five EU countries. This report examines effective methods and tools used at the ISCED 3 and 4 levels (upper secondary and post-secondary education), capturing insights from different educational systems.
- Purpose: The insights gathered in PR1 provide a foundational framework for the project’s later stages, informing the design and development of the S.T.E.P.S. educational robot and related resources. This foundational study guides the development of technical and pedagogical strategies to ensure the robot aligns with diverse STEM curriculum requirements(20230322_S.T.E.P.S. Sub…)(20230322_S.T.E.P.S. Sub…).
Together, E1 and PR1 establish a robust understanding of the educational landscape in robotics and STEM, setting the stage for the practical development of resources within the S.T.E.P.S. project.
